XCEND Announces Release of Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 Dashboard

Brighton, Michigan: XCEND announced today the release of the Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 dashboard template, leveraging the company’s MetriX IT Performance Dashboard solution. The new dashboard template provides organizations with the ability to quickly assess risks and vulnerabilities, allowing IT executives and managers to proactively engage in remediation efforts. Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 works with organizations of all sizes to deliver the fastest, most accurate malware detection available, with nine essential security and control technologies in an all-in-one, single-agent solution.
A Symantec Platinum Partner and former Altiris Partner of the Year, XCEND developed the Symantec Endpoint Protection dashboard to address the fast-changing threat landscape and critical nature of protecting an organization’s endpoints. With a ready-to-use dashboard template and more than 40 pre-built Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), the MetriX SEP 12.1 dashboard allows clients to view in real time the state of their security posture, along with the types of attacks taking place at the endpoint and network. Users will be able to quickly and easily visualize the volume of attacks, while ensuring that all endpoints remain protected and in compliance with security standards.
The MetriX performance metrics for SEP 12.1 were developed so that customers can develop an out-of-the-box, production-ready dashboard within minutes. Customers can also quickly and easily customize the metrics by simply changing the query parameters to align with an organization’s unique requirements. KPIs are currently available in the following categories (example metrics listed):
- Activity: Infectious Activity for Last N Days, Count of Machines by Infection Type, Top N Viruses Found in Last N Days
- Agent Status: SEM Agent Status, Agent Status Alerts
- Virus Definitions: A/V Definition Breakdown, A/V Revision Compliance, Protection Content Version Compliance %
- Licensing & Installation: Installation Summary of Last N Days, Production Version Summary, Available Licenses vs. Deployed
- Network Threat Protection: Virus Definition Distribution, Attacks Over Time
- Risk: Top N New Risks Detected
